The Neumann Steel business is among the newest members to the Neumann Group of Companies. It was established in 1985 after the owners undertook a tour of European mesh plants and decided to commence manufacturing of steel reinforcing products. It remains operating at its existing site at the Neumann Group complex in Currumbin, Queensland.
Today we are the largest privately owned concrete reinforcement manufacturer in Queensland. We have been involved in many major projects on the Gold Coast, such as the Paradise Centre and, more recently, the Q1 tower, Circle on Cavill, and Avalon. Current projects include Southport Central and the Southern Regional Water Pipeline. We have Service Centres in nine locations throughout South East Queensland and New South Wales. All Service Centres stock a wide range of builders and concreter’s products.
Another aspect of the company is Neumann Injection Moulding. The fully self sufficient manufacturing facility of plastic bar chair products uses state of the art modern technology to ensure quality product is achieved every time.
Neumann Precision Engineering operates as a stand alone workshop that can cater to all one off or repetition manufacturing needs.
Across all divisions the company has a strong commitment towards quality, delivery in full and on time to customers and nil harm to all our employees. These three aspects are closely monitored and reported regularly to all team members.
