Our Steel Raw Material Supplier has notified Neumann Steel of a cost increase which due to the economic times we must pass onto you our customers.

Neumann Steel has continued to maintain a competitive pricing position to all our customers & we are constantly working within the company to be a cost efficient supplier whilst maintaining a strong framework in providing a high level of customer service.

We are all well aware of the difficulties a price increase can have in the market place, but we have no option but to implement this reinforcing steel price rise effective 1st June 2012

  • $75 per tonne on all bar products
  • 6.0% on all mesh products
  • 6.0% on all steel accessories
  • Cartage/Freight charges will increase at various rates (as consulted by your local Branch/Representative)

The current pricing situation continues to be a challenge going forward as more increases could be forthcoming over the next six months, however as always we remain committed to providing you full support and service in these confronting times.

We ask that you please remain cautious & bear in mind the market conditions, when quoting for future jobs & to your customers, and take note of the rise and fall clauses in our Terms and Conditions of Supply.

Once again, thank you for your continued and valued support, please be assured that we remain committed to keeping you informed on any changes to market conditions as they come to light.

Kind Regards,
